Learn how to plan for and to shoot Commercial Properties, interiors and exteriors. Learn all the important aspects of planning your shoot from specialist lenses and equipment to lighting techniques, composition, digital work-flow, and retouching. The highlight of the course is shooting real estate/ Architecture and Interior Spaces on location.

Day 1: 10am - 8pm
Fundamental Aspects: Equipment, camera settings, lighting techniques, and editing solutions are discussed
Practical shoot: Interior Spaces - learning to use natural light and off-camera flash to Shoot Interiors and details. I prepare you for shooting in varying light conditions
Practical shoot : Exteriors - Shooting striking modern buildings in varying lighting conditions; from harsh afternoon light towards the golden hour, dusk and Twilight
Day 2: 9am - 1pm
Workflow & Digital Retouching - learning to select and retouch your architectural and interior images; using various software tools based on a Lightroom Workflow but using Photoshop as well.

Requirements
A digital SLR Camera with advanced and Manual Program Modes and a wide angle lens. For full frame sensor cameras a lens around 16-35 is perfect and if you have a cropped APS sensor camera then a wide angle lens around 10-20 will work as well. If you don't have lenses in that range but do have a wide angle lens then use it for the course and learn what you need for later purchase. You will also need a good tripod and a cable release or remote to trigger your camera. .

It is expected that attendees should know the basics of photography such as how to control Depth of Field, Aperture, Shutter speed, ISO, White balance, Metering, Focusing etc. If you don’t yet understand the basics, we recommend that you take a look at our Introduction and/or Intermediate photography courses.
A laptop or computer, using Windows or mac with Lightroom, version 6, or newer installed as well as Photoshop CS6 or newer.

This is not compulsory, but some practical knowledge using Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements will be beneficial. Prior to this course you might consider our Photoshop course
